# Moving average on easy chart

Dear @Kevin.Herron

I have a requirement to display the **moving average** along with the actual signal and **control limits**. Hence I have chosen to use easy chart default functionalities. I have below questions

1. How to calculate **moving average for a specific period**. (This period is tunable from ignition screen e.g., 1 hour or 2 hour, etc)
2. How to calculate **LCL and UCL based on the moving average and user-defined control limits** (e.g., ±200 Nm3/hr)

Is it possible to achieve the above functions **with the help of easy chart** (may be using some scripting)?
