Hello guys,

Currently i have Ignition installed in the C drive and i have to move it to the D drive. Apart from reinstalling and installing is there a better way?

Haven't tried this myself (with Ignition) but you could perhaps consider:

You can try other ways but I feel like taking a GW backup, uninstalling from C, reinstalling to D and restoring your backup is easy, quick and not prone to error.

If you try it doing symbolic links yourself you might get it but then you might also now run into new issues completely unrelated to Ignition itself.

Any particular reason you don't want to uninstall/reinstall?

There are a couple different options discussed in this thread.

> [@Change Install Directory After Installation](https://forum.inductiveautomation.com/t/change-install-directory-after-installation/67086):
>
> Is the best way to change the install directory for Ignition to uninstall and install? Change the install directory through the install wizard Or move the Ignition folder?
