I have an IFM AL1326 IO-Link Master Module that I would like to connect directly to Ignition. We use an Allen-Bradley 1783-NATR as a Network Gateway. Can anyone tell me if this is possible?

I would also like to keep the PLC on the Network too. Can one socket connection handle both Ethernet and MQTT protocols or would I need another Network drop?

Yes and yes. This isn't really an Ignition question, it's just plain old networking.
