# Native client launcher launch args causing client crash on start up

\*Problem: When using the native client launcher to launch projects they would crash on the “Downloading project” step

\*Solution: Added Java launch arg of -XX:MaxPermSize=128m to the /.ignition/clientlauncher-data/launch.xml as outlined in [https://docs.inductiveautomation.com/display/DOC79/Native+Client+Launchers](https://docs.inductiveautomation.com/display/DOC79/Native+Client+Launchers)
