# New Feature: Perspective icon picker

Starting with tonight’s nightly release, users can take advantage of a new picker tool when interacting with any property in Perspective which expects an icon path.

To use this new picker, simply click the “Browse icons” button to the right of the property value.

This will open the picker, where you’ll have the ability to select from among any of the svg libraries your project has access to.

This includes the “material” library and the internal “ignition” libraries by default. If you’ve supplied your own libraries, they will be usable here as long as they follow the standards adhered to by the material and ignition library files.

The picker allows for filtering the icons of the selected library based on their `id` attribute.

To select an icon from the picker, you must double-click your selection.
