#### About the `ignition` formula

In coatl.dev we have been busy at creating the Ignition formula that will allow you to upgrade automatically as soon as a new version is released. This should give you a similar experience to downloading the Ignition installer and replacing an old version with the latest. But it is more akin to [upgrading an existing macOS installation](https://docs.inductiveautomation.com/display/DOC81/ZIP+File+Installations#ZIPFileInstallations-UpgradinganExistingMacOSInstallation), with the difference that some steps are done automatically by the Formula, and you won’t be bothered by warnings about [macOS flagging the installer as potential malware](https://support.inductiveautomation.com/hc/en-us/articles/360055822731--Can-t-Open-Installer-on-macOS).
