# No IE 11 support in Ignition 8? Supported Browsers?

Not listed in Supported Browsers. Just a little extra work to install something else everywhere. Which is best for Ignition, Chrome, Firefox or Edge?

_Perspective_ supports modern versions of Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari. We test with all of those, so they should all work just as well.

IE11 should probably still load the gateway webpage fine, it’s worth noting - and we have it in the pipeline to add a more graceful “fallback” page that still lets older browsers download the Designer & Vision client launchers.

I noticed that some background color styles applied to buttons in Perspective that work as expected in iOS app and in Chrome browser do not work as expected in Edge. This is on v8.0.2. YMMV.

I believe we’ve improved the default button background behavior in the upcoming Ignition 8.0.3 release.

Also, we have observed the component size in Chrome not working properly as Edge. Components shows scroll bar in Chrome but not in Edge. Please advise.  
I can send the screenshots of the both the browsers, if needed.

I am using version **8.0.14 (b2020062220)**
