# Offline Map Server to Clients

Hi All,

I just want to confirm offline map server needs to communicate with clients also? Or map server link with Ignition servers are sufficient? Thank you.

as I remember, clients need to be able to reach map server.

I think so, I can't see anything when clients unable to reach map server.
