# OPC DA problems

I’m experiencing some troubles with B&R’s OPC DA, the communications seem to be working properly and suddenly the connection status goes “Closed”, especially when writing a value.  
I guess the problem is due to a wrong DCOM configuration but I need some help to fix it.

O.S: Windows server 2008  
Ignition Version: 7.6.6

Knowledge Base Article 152 will be a good place to start. Towards the end of the article you will find troubleshooting steps that will walk you through the configuration changes that need to be made in the OS.
