# OPC Error Message with Flexy Connection

Hello at all, i’m creating a new OPC connection with eWon Flexy but get faulted with this Message UaException: status=Bad\_SecurityChecksFailed, message=certificate path validation failed

It sounds like you need to mark the eWon server certificate as trusted in the `Config > OPC UA > Security` section, on the “Client” tab.
