# OPC UA Server: Failed to bind endpoint (Error during server startup)

I just downloaded Ignition Maker and I immediately encountered an error regarding OPC UA Connections. The server couldn't connect. Is there anyone experienced this kind of error? Can anyone walk me through on how to troubleshoot it? Thank you very much.

You may want to check to see if something else is already using port 62541, maybe you have two instances of Ignition trying to run on the same machine?

Like dkhayes said, this looks like something is already bound to that port.

This is already solved. I tried configuring the port including the ip address then restarted my laptop then it connected after. Thank you.
