We have a customer who wants to change passwords every 3/6 months for all Ignition’s users. The idea is to be able to manage the passwords for all users or in the worst escenario, generate random passwords.
Is it possible to accomplish such task?
Thanks in advance

What type of user source are you using?

There are password policies that can be enabled on the user source to force users to reset passwords.

Customer is using default user source type (internal). By using that type of user resource I can only play with Password max age right? If customer wants to manage passwords centrally the best choice is to implement Database user source type?

If they want central management of users, yes, you need to go with DB or some other external source like AD/LDAP.
