# PDF Viewer - Zoom

How can I get the PDF Viewer to be zoomed in to 250% automatically.

The PDF viewer component has a [`setZoomFactor`](https://docs.inductiveautomation.com/display/DOC79/PDF+Viewer) method.

```auto
target = event.source.parent.getComponent('PDF Viewer')
target.setZoomFactor(2.5)

```
