# Perspective app lower performance than browser

This video compares a rotation animation between Chrome browser and the Perspective app, where the rotation is smooth in Chrome and choppy in the Perspective app.

Cheers. OS is Android 10. Not sure about the web view component 🤔 where do I find that?

I think it’s the version of the `Android System Webview` app in the Play store?

There shouldn’t be any noticeable difference between the two, as our native app uses Chrome under the hood. That being said, you can definitely see a difference in the posted video. I’ll double check our app and make sure any unnecessary work isn’t happening on the UI thread. Thanks again for bringing this to our attention.
