# Perspective components in 8.1

I am developing some perspective components using the current 8.0.X SDK and am wondering if there is an ETA on the documentation for creating perspective components using the 8.1.X SDK. I can see that the functions for ComponentDescriptor have changed as that is what causes the module to fail currently but am unsure of any other changes in the Java or if there are changes needed in the typescript files.

Perry has the latest on a fork - should land on the main repo sometime soon.
