# Perspective custom property with dropdown selection

Is it possible to create a custom property/parameter for a view that provides a “dropdown” with a list like the built-in properties? example:

Not at present, but we have plans to implement some kind of custom property validation, especially for view parameters, that allows you use them as more restrictive ‘templates’.

Not yet, but it's still a planned improvement. I think progress is _planned_ for Q1 2023.
