# Perspective custom SVG tint only changing background color and not fill color

Styling SVGs with the tint property has been proven to be rather difficult. Instead users have had more success using the CSS filter property. There is a very useful forum post [here](https://forum.inductiveautomation.com/t/equivilent-of-tint-property-from-vision-but-in-perspective/68201) displaying how to apply the filter property. A useful tool to help get the exact scale for the filter properties is the [CSS Generator](https://cssgenerator.org/filter-css-generator.html)
