# Perspective Dropdown: Allow user-select

Is there anyway to allow the selected single value of a perspective dropdown to be highlighted for use with `ctrl+v`?

I've tried these without luck:

```javascript
.psc-Dropdowns\/AllowHighlight .ia_dropdown.iaDropdownCommon .ia_dropdown__valueSingle {
    -webkit-user-select: text !important;
    -moz-user-select: text !important;
    -ms-user-select: text !important;
    user-select: text !important;
}

```

```javascript
.psc-Dropdowns\/AllowHighlight .ia_dropdown.iaDropdownCommon {
    user-select: text !important;
}

```

The javascript on this component must be diverting mouse events to the `expandIcon` part. This allows the dropdown to open no matter where you click on the component.
