# Perspective finger print login

Just to check how is the status of adding finger print login function to perspective. I saw it is added as planned function in 2020.

The operator loves the perspective platform but really hate login the screen each time with username and password.

What platform is their client? Biometrics typically are a part of the device platform, and the platform is what stores the credentials.

For example on an iPhone, iCloud Keychain stores the password. That way when you open up a perspective app, iCloud Keychain offers to scan my face to enter the password. Therefore perspective “supports” Face ID.

Seems like their device has password saving disabled

the client just use their phone, could be andriod or iphone.

Do you have some procedure that I can follow to test out? I couldnt find similar IA articles to refer to.
