# Perspective Focus Android

In perspective, I am unable to set the focus on a text field from a startup script on the view itself or the root container. Any suggestions?

Further testing shows that it has to do with the field being in a column container. If the text field is directly on the root, focus can be set without issue. Is there a method for setting the focus on a text field inside of a container consistently? Thanks.
