# \[Perspective\] List of Tag Groups

Hello. Is there a function to programmatically get the list of the current Gateway’s Tag Groups in a Provider?

Not in the system functions (as far as I know), but you might be able to find something with this:

[http://files.inductiveautomation.com/sdk/javadoc/ignition80/8.0.0-beta/com/inductiveautomation/ignition/gateway/model/GatewayContext.html](http://files.inductiveautomation.com/sdk/javadoc/ignition80/8.0.0-beta/com/inductiveautomation/ignition/gateway/model/GatewayContext.html)

which has a `getTagManager` method, which will bring you to this:

Which has a `getTagGroupsAsync` method.
