# Perspective Map Marker Name Property

The name property acts like a date.  
8.1.13, 8.1.14, 8.1.15, 8.1.16

Right, it’s just because in the schema it is listed as potentially being anything. Since we introduced `properties`, I wouldn’t even use it anymore. There’s no reason too, I don’t think. I agree, that it’s a little odd to have the date picker.
