# Perspective module and Internal Historian license

Hi  
I’d like to confirm if I buy only a perspective module is it enough to use “Internal Historian”, or I have to active history module as well? I need history only for trending.  
I ask it because “Internal Historian” is NOT SQL DB and use flat file so may be it use different licensing strategy.
