# Perspective mouse events and writing values

I would recommend reading through [Momentary Pushbutton Latching On](https://forum.inductiveautomation.com/t/momentary-pushbutton-latching-on/5373) and [Very Concerning Read Write Issues](https://forum.inductiveautomation.com/t/very-concerning-read-write-issues-important-information-for-all-users/18583/45). Both of these threads should provide some decent insight to Momentary buttons and possible pitfalls of using them. [This comment](https://forum.inductiveautomation.com/t/momentary-pushbutton-latching-on/5373/61?) from the first link might point you in the right direction for what to do on the PLC side to prevent latching.
