Hi All,

Is there a way to set a user for view only permissions on a project? Not individual views? For example. I might have a water treatment plant where I want to allow say Production Manager to view the project as whole but if he was say a WW operator he could change setpoints etc??

The only way i can see to do this is either security on views or maybe an event script?

Hi Jarrod,

You can disable certain buttons / setpoints for different users.

In project properties, depending if you are using Vision or Perspective, you can modify what users can access.

For example, in this case any user who does not belong to Administrator or Operaor cannot change any Tags.
