# Perspective Table component background color

Hi,

There does not seem to be a way to change the background color of the table component once the pager has been disabled. At least in version 8.0.16 I did not find a way to do so. I have set every possible style to be transparent, except for my cells which have a background color based on state, but the background color does not seem to change. Could anybody point out as to what I am missing? or any alternative solutions.

@ott.sellis, the styles that you'd want to override are internal to the table. You'd need to create a custom theme to completely remove those styles:
