I know this is an old thread, but I ran into this issue today. I couldn't figure out why my row heights were so large when using a column `view`.

This thread also had some ideas: [[FEATURE-16567] Perspective Table Row Height - Ignition Early Access - Inductive Automation Forum](https://forum.inductiveautomation.com/t/feature-16567-perspective-table-row-height/33466/15)

But they either didn't work or felt very hacky.

What I had missed is that the table row height seems to respect the `basis` value of the container used for the column view. Easy to miss the `basis` when you just change the default viewport size when developing the `view`.
