Hello Everyone,

I am trying to display a pipe on top of the template in Ignition perspective.

I need to show a pipe exactly over a template (any other component) (as shown in the attached image). I tried changing the direction (forward/backward) and also adjusting the Z-order, but it is not working as expected. The pipe is still not appearing on top.

Could you please suggest the correct way to achieve this?

- Is there a specific setting for the pipe draw tool?

Any guidance or example would be really helpful.

Thanks in advance.

What you can do is place all of the pipes inside of a coordinate container (I call this the CoordinateContainer\_PIPES) Then you are able to move that specific coordinate container order either in front or behind other objects here is an example of the view: Notice how tank 2 is behind the pipes while tank 1 is laying on top of the pipes. To copy this view copy all of the JSON. Create a new view with…

Thank you! Ironically I had a coordinate container used as an overlay already and i tried to condense the layers but just applying it one layer which caused this. I will go back to how I had it.
