# Perspective xy chart axis break

Using perspective 8.1, xy chart

I’m trying to implement an x axis break where it the chart gets the “squiggly” lines over a date range to skip.

Under xAxes[0].date.break I set enabled to true and specified startDate/endDate and size, but no matter what, when the break is enabled, I get a “component error” message displayed for the graph.

Any suggestions or examples would be appreciated.
