Hey, I’m having some trouble getting Tooltip values to show up on my XYChart’s line series; here’s the JSON for the chart and a screenshot of what renders in the browser. If I add bullets to my line series, then the property **series[x].line.bullets[0].tooltip.text** seems to work, but the Tooltips only appear when you hover over a bullet. I’d much rather have the values displayed no matter where the user places their cursor. I have this issue now. I need a solution too. The guy who had it working, he only had lines and they were step lines. When I set for step lines and bullet set to circle, I get the tooltip. Bullets set to circle isn't going to work for me though. I still need a solution. I am on 8.1.19. @milbar How did you make tooltips on your line renders on your xy chart? Did you figure this out in the end? I ended up using lines, and setting circle or labels on the bullets. The bullet has the tooltip that works, and was solved in another thread for me, and I didn't make it back here, sorry. Interesting that this worked. ---

I’ve found that the XY Chart component and some of the other chart components in Perspective are based off amCharts’ library. I read [amCharts’ documentation](https://www.amcharts.com/docs/v4/concepts/tooltips/#Series_tooltips) and found a solution to display series tooltips which I posted [here](https://forum.inductiveautomation.com/t/perspective-xychart-tooltip/64783/4).
