# Place result of expression into a tag

An expression is executing a math equation on 2 plc tags in LED display. The result is viewed in LED display(this is desired outcome) . However I would like to do additional things with result of equation and ideally could move result into a tag.

How do I place the result of expression in tag?

Have you tried moving the expression to an [expression tag](https://docs.inductiveautomation.com/display/DOC/Creating+Expression+Tags)?
