Viewing an alarm property binding without making any changes causes the Tag Editor to behave as though changes were made.

If you are in the alarm configuration section of the Tag Editor and click the link icon to create/edit a binding on an alarm property, the "Apply" button on the main Tag Editor window becomes enabled even before you make any changes. If you then hit the "Cancel" button on the binding popup window, then the "Cancel" button in the Tag Editor window, you are prompted with the "All changes will be lost. Proceed?" dialog box, even though no changes have been made. This behavior can also be achieved by viewing the tag change scripts in the Tag Editor, then selecting an event that does not currently have a script configured.

It seems innocuous enough, other than a few seconds of questioning my sanity, but it does seem unintended, so I thought I would post it here.

I'm using Ignition version 8.3.10 and Designer version 1.3.10.

Sounds like a real bug. You should open a support ticket so it gets tracked and fixed.

Ive seen similar functionality with scripts to. if you open a script and close it without making any changes, the name italicizes like changes were made and its waiting for a save.
