# "Print the content of the Perspective View as a PDF by clicking the \[Print Button\]."

Hello Team,

I have been working on the **Ignition Perspective module** , where I have a page that needs to be printed or exported to PDF.

My view page has the following components involved:

1. **FlexRepeater** : This component displays a series of data based on certain conditions applied.
2. A graph with the required details.

My Screen which need to be printed:

Using the Ignition Report, is it possible to generate the same content displayed in the screenshot? Can it display all the details shown in the **FlexRepeater**?

If not, are there any other options to generate a PDF of the screen or capture a screenshot and export it as a PDF?

No, and not directly. The best you can do is trigger a page print, and train your users to print to their own PDF-generating virtual printer.

If you need a precisely-designed PDF, design within the Reporting module. (Totally different from Perspective.)

This resource on the exchange uses the webdev module, but it will take a screenshot of the entire page.

Either way you will need an additional module (if you don't have one or the other already) to achieve this.

Based on your question though, Phil has the best answer for you. Generating reports in report builder will be able to give a more intuitive experience for your users since Perspective can natively call reports and they display in PDF formats.

Here is an example of a report in the event you have not went through IA University's Report Module section and made reports before.
