# Printing a PDF in Ignition Perspective

Hi Team,

I'm working with Ignition Perspective and need to print a PDF file. If anyone knows of any possible ways to achieve this within Perspective, I would appreciate any guidance, suggestions, or resources.

Print it where?

Perspective is browser-based, so any printing to a client-local printer is moderated by the browser's security. You generally have to use `system.perspective.download` and let the user print separately, or use the Perspective Report Viewer (for reports), or host the PDF at a URL, and open a tab for it (letting the user then print it). If you do that latter, you may find my Blob Server module helpful.

You generally cannot **make** a client browser **automatically** print **anything**.
