# Problem with Number Format, is diferent in Perspective Workstation

Hi, I'm trying to change the number format and I select one of the options that it gives me.

in the preview the format with which it comes out is the one I need but in perspective workstation it doesn't come out with the same format.

Workstation is probably not really relevant here. The root cause is likely the gateway (where the report you're viewing in workstation is generated) having a different locale than your designer environment.

Hello PGriffith, to solve this we would only have to change the location of the gateway? where this change is made?

The locale of the gateway is automatically detected from the host operating system. If you want to override, you can force specific values using additional properties in the `ignition.conf` file; specifically `user.country` and `user.language`.
