# Problems in Using Time series Chart

I am using a time series chart to visualize tag values. Since the values are extremely small (below 10⁻⁷), I would like the Y-axis tick labels to be shown in scientific notation, e.g., 5.6E-7. Could you please advise whether this format is supported and how to enable it?Thanks!

Yes, it's possible. In the Property Editor on your Power Chart, you want to create an axis, give it a name, and set the tick.label property to "e". Make sure to select that axis for your pen, as well.

You can tweak the number of digits and such. Ignition is using the D3 syntax: [d3-format](https://d3js.org/d3-format)
