# \[Question\] Perspective user and roles

Since binding to {[System]Client/User/OSUsername} and {[System]Client/User/RolesString} returns “Error\_Configuration” how might one get the current users name and the roles they are a member of?

In Perspective, use {session.auth.user.roles} as Client tags are not accessible in Perspective.

When we will able to add tags to the perspective?

Client tags have been renamed to “Vision Client Tags” to show they are a vision only thing. You can’t use vision client tags in perspective.  
I use “session custom” properties in the same way that I used client tags before.

How do you link the tag to the login username?  
I made some tags has you but it make a error.
