# \[Question\] Tooltip from views in flex repeater

When configuring a set of views in a flex repeater is there any way to pass additional parameters and present them as a tooltip rather than a traditional pop up when a user moves their mouse over that particular instance?

In the long-run, probably.

We removed/turned-off tooltips because we weren’t happy with how they were displaying in many instances (imaging trying to input text into a text field only to have a tooltip obscure the click). Eventually, Tooltips will make it back in - but I wouldn’t expect them to be in place for 8.0.
