I know Ignition can authenticate against LDAP, but has anyone used a RADIUS Server instead?

You could build a module to do this pretty quickly. You would have to use a RADIUS/Internal or RADIUS/DB profile, as RADIUS would not provide roles.

We have a module that can act as a RADIUS server, backed by any auth profile Ignition provides.

Abishur,

Were you able to get radius authentication working with your Ignition installation? I would like to do the same thing. I am on version 8.

Thanks!

Hi Kyle,

What do you mean by “build a module”? Do you mean to program a radius module for Ignition, or is there something already existing we could use?

I already have a MS radius server - I would like to point my Ignition installation at it for u/p authentication.

Thanks,

James
