# Redundant switch over time

what is the estimated time required for warm backup gateway become active in the event of power failure for master gateway? It took 10-20 seconds for my system. Both servers having direct LACP connection with 1Gbps.

Besides that, it caused a 30 to 40 seconds of trend lost, it this normal? Urgent.
