# Remote Tag provider From Edge gateway write tag to Standard Gateway need to be biredirevtional

Birectional Functionality For Remote tag provider created between Ignition edge server and standard Server is not working

What is the service security for your tag provider? You probably need to change it to be `ReadWrite` instead of `ReadOnly`
