I’ve got two gateways - A and B. B provides A with some tags as a remote tag provider.

For testing, I’ve set up an identical provider on both gateways. I’ve created a 100ms direct update tag group on both and both have one tag pointing to the same device in this group.

I then added both tags (one local provider and one remote via gateway B) to a screen on gateway A to monitor them. The result is that the local tag provider updates at the 100ms rate as expected but the remote provider is updating at a 1 second interval.

I opened the designer for gateway B and there I can see that the tag is updating at the 100ms rate also.

So it _appears_ that there is a 1s maximum update rate for remote tag providers? Is this correct, or is there a setting somewhere I need to adjust?

This is currently a fixed limit:

> [@Remote Tag Provider updates tags slower than Realtime Tag Provider](https://forum.inductiveautomation.com/t/remote-tag-provider-updates-tags-slower-than-realtime-tag-provider/84029/2):
>
> Tag value updates for remote tag providers are batched and flushed after 1000ms to prevent overwhelming the connections with many single tag value updates. This is not currently something that can be configured.
