Hello all,

I have read a lot on here but never posted anything. This time however I am not sure if it is me or maybe a bug so therefore this post hoping someon can help me out. I have a pop-up with two alarm tables. I want to open the pop-up in different resolutions and to scale what is inside the pop-up. I managed to change the width and height of the pop-up. I have two parameters and bound them to props.width and height of the pop-up. I have another pop-up and this scales perfectly. however the alarm tables only resize after I resize the pop-up a little bit. I want the pop-up to look like this:

 ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/inductiveautomation/original/3X/5/3/53280de385916338366ef0e9c86dac7263a27714.png)

But when I have a smaller screen the initial result is this:

 ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/inductiveautomation/original/3X/b/d/bd38c3f220412c5e41040cb767849c4790ef3417.png)

Draging the pop-up to resize results in the tables both sharing and filling the screen. I set them both to basis 50%. I know this is not exactly what they are but it works for a big screen. I am using a flex container.

Solutions tried:

- refresh binding on startup script with a property on the tables
- Add margin in on startup script hoping to force a resize
- Changed the view to a Coordinate container (same result)
- Ask AI (rubish)
- A new flex container with two alarm tables this time no other settings but the 50% basis.

So I am at a loss. especially since I have another pop-up which does work and this has the same configuration.

You can pass height and width parameters with the `position` arg in [system.perspective.openPopup](https://docs.inductiveautomation.com/docs/8.1/appendix/scripting-functions/system-perspective/system-perspective-openPopup). With the proper container settings, you can skip the parameters and bindings for sizing.

```python
position = {
    'height':'30%', #or pixels
    'width':'60%'
}
system.perspective.openPopup(
    id,
    'View',
    position=position
```

Do you have your table columns set with strict width?

I would expect the container settings as follows

Thank you! I am going to buy a new pair of eyes. I completely missed this. The percentage solution worked! Now there is only a strange wite field at the header.I think it is because the slider on the right doesn't scale with the table.

I tried to use webkit-scrollbar and got my scrollbar to work correctly but I can't seem to get the wite square to go away.
