# Restarting Report Module Issue

Hi everyone,

Last Monday, the computer that I use as the Ignition server crashed. I was able to restart the gateway and applications but the Reporting module still doesn’t want to start and stays in “Faulted” status, and how hard I pushed the button, it still doesn’t want to restart.

You’re going to have to get direct help from support, I think. I would expect them to help you dig around in the internal database to disable the schedule that is causing the problem. Of course, they may insist you upgrade. Not only is 8.0.1 very old and know to be buggy, but the whole 8.0.x series is end-of-life.

Yes, please upgrade, this particular NPE was fixed in a later release.

If there is still an issue with missing data after upgrading contact support. I suspect you may have lost a resource when your server crashed.
