# Rotating Label in ignition desginer 7.9.17

Has there been a work around found for this. If I go past this angle, text goes past the label window and disappears.? Thank you all!

Hi [Gurkirat\_Singh](https://forum.inductiveautomation.com/u/Gurkirat_Singh),

The label component will rotate around the anchor point which is the center of the component as mentioned in [our user manual](https://docs.inductiveautomation.com/display/DOC79/Working+with+Components#WorkingwithComponents-ManipulatingComponents). Therefore, the workaround could be resizing the component in order to display the text.

What are the horizontal and vertical alignment settings for this label? ...left, right, leading. trailing? I imagine that you will want to set the alignments to center, so that when you increase the size of the label the text will be pulled into the middle where it won't overlap the edge on rotation.
