# \[SAML\] 403 Error with Designer while gateway SSO works!

Hi,  
Following up to this specific post: [SSO Login for Designer Session - #6 by TimeLordship](https://forum.inductiveautomation.com/t/sso-login-for-designer-session/114564/6)

I can login via gateway, but saml redirects incorrectly on Designer.

1. Why is the behavior for Designer different than the gateway?
2. Is there a configuration that can be changed to ensure that the designer redirect URL is correct?
