# Saving File in other server or shared folder outside ignition folder

It possible the generated output file from ignition is place automatically from a shared drive in different server?

Yes.  
But if your OS is Windows then read through [https://forum.inductiveautomation.com/t/saving-to-a-shared-network-drive](https://forum.inductiveautomation.com/t/saving-to-a-shared-network-drive) to make sure you understand likely problems.
