# Saving picture from camera

I’d like to know if it’s possible to take a picture from my tablet camera with igntion v8 ?

There is a file upload component in 8.0.1+ that allows you to either upload a picture already saved on your mobile device, or, ( **depending on your environment, eg mobile app vs browser** ) directly capture an image to upload from “within” the Perspective session.
