# Script updates not applied on gateway

After commiting the changes to a project script and saving the project, the changes are not applied when executed in the gateway context.

The common “Restarting gateway scripts” message does not appear in the system console after saving the project.

After restarting the server, the changes are applied.

Ignition v7.7 running on WS2012R2
