# Scripting is turned off, how did i do it

Help, I have managed to turn scripting off in all my projects.

I only use basic scripts, no gateway or client scripts

something like

if currentValue.value == x:  
system.tag.write(“tagname”, 100)

but none of them work anymore and they all used to,

what have i done, hopefully something really simple

does anyone have any idea? is it a gateway setting as its affecting all my projects.

Most likely you’ve edited a shared script that everything uses and left a syntax error, so it cannot load.

Could you attach a screenshot of the full script you’re trying, and the error message you’re seeing?

since a reboot of the server the scripting issues appears to be solved
